Nate has spent twenty years at the intersection of technology, storytelling, and brand — building products that get noticed, companies that get acquired, and communities that take on a life of their own.
Today he leads creative technology at Rogue Agents — a boutique AI production team he co-founded with Pete Kaminski and Sarah Collins to bring senior-level AI execution directly to agencies and brands. He's the product mind behind every client build: the person who translates a campaign brief into something that can actually be made.
In 2025 he and Pete built YouBots, a contextual AI platform for businesses that couldn't get generic LLMs to produce work that actually sounded like theirs. The core innovation was the Organizational Profile — a living intelligence layer that gave every bot full knowledge of the company's brand voice, institutional memory, and goals, so outputs arrived already briefed rather than starting from scratch. The platform launched profitably from day one and scaled across retail, agency, and enterprise clients.
In 2024 he built Talemaiker, a suite of AI screenwriting tools designed to help professional writers brainstorm, develop, and structure stories faster — without replacing their voice. The philosophy resonated with Hollywood: Talemaiker was acquired by a Hollywood entertainment production company in March 2025. Early users and testers had over $2 billion in combined box office earnings.
In 2023, at the birth of generative AI, he built a prototype of the SAU (Sentient AI Universe) — a pioneering project in autonomous AI characters and emergent storytelling that predated the mainstream conversation about AI agents by two years.
Before the AI era, Nate spent over a decade in marketing, product, and strategy leadership for agencies, startups, and major brands: NBC, Harley-Davidson, Groupon, Applebee's, Cinnabon, The Motley Fool. As Director of Communications at GiveForward, he helped grow the platform from $25 million to $100 million raised before its acquisition by GoFundMe. As CEO of a healthcare communications company, he grew revenue by 25% over two years — strengthening the business in the run-up to its acquisition.
Along the way, he built multiple volunteer-driven community platforms that attracted 20,000+ participants across 150+ countries with zero ad spend. CNN, Forbes, Fast Company, Wired, and the Washington Post all took notice.
Nate serves on the UW-Milwaukee School of Continuing Education Technology, Engineering & Business Advisory Committee. He's based in Milwaukee with a part-time presence in LA. He will absolutely show up to meetings in a beanie. This is not negotiable.
